New York drummer David Frazier Jr. performs a kaleidoscope of rhythms for this collection of jazz breaks. Ranging from freeform to in-the-pocket, Frazier’s playing on a vintage Ludwig kit was captured on a Neve console using Neman mics at Reservoir Studios. Begging to chopped and resampled, this pack is a launchpad for inspiration as much as it is ready to bring elasticity and a human touch to your rhythm section.
