Born in Maracay, Venezuela, Michelle Valentina Sanz Mateu, artistically known as Michi Sanz, is a Mara de Oro award winning singer-songwriter. A Latin Grammy and Recording Academy member, Michi is a global star when it comes to her craft. Performing at a number of major festivals such as SXSW and writing for International artists such as Leslie Shaw and Jossef with Universal Music. Michi was billed as Rolling Stone’s “Artist to listen to” and Latin Billboard’s “Artists you should have on your radar” in 2023.
