Abstracting acoustic instruments, found sounds and field recordings in a modular playground, sound designer Jürgen Branz offers a collection of elastic tones and zones, equal parts organic and synthetic. The soft metallic tones of the sansula and gubal are smeared into granular atmospheres while birdsongs and virtual tape reels are re-harmonised to otherworldly effect.
